Isnt it better to buy the rfid blocking card sleeves to insert your cards and fit into an existing wallet?

Not necessarily better. Just another option. There's no need to purchase a new wallet, if you're happy with yours....but this is a good deal regardless.

"Frequently returned item"... Some 3-star reviews basically say it's a nice design but it's made of poor materials. Falling apart, cards fall out, etc.
