I have one of these I keep running in a pantry just for the heck of it. Works fine but realize that not all bugs are attracted to UV. You'll still catch some because bugs are stupid, but this won't necessarily work on fruit flies or pantry moths, for example.
Bought a black one at Amazon for $37.79 in Feb 2019, so price is stable and this seems a good deal for 2.

Generally I liked it for the bug catching. It gets a lot of fruit flies and gnats.

I add some Lactic Acid [amazon.com] on a cotton ball taped to the top to attract more mosquitos (no idea if it works).
I make my own replacement sticky pads using brush-on sticky coating [amazon.com] and some old wax-coated cardboard cut into circles.

Cons:
1. Sticky body: the black one I got developed that sticky plastic exterior problem that some plastics get over time. Maybe this white one uses different plastic in the body.
2. Expensive replacement pads ($1.50+ each)
3. Hard to clean: Gets pretty dirty with continuous use, can't get at the fan to clean it. Pads get dusty as well as buggy...if you have pets, well....
4. UV light: Seems to be a coating that wore off, now the light is whiter.
5. Got noisier over time (probably dirty fan)

I'm still buying this deal for 2 to replace mine and maybe give one away.
If you're a a cheap bastard like me.. apple cider vinegar + Drop or two of dawn dish soap + a tiny piece of fruit in a bowl. Put seran wrap on it and poke some holes in the wrap. Maybe mix up the solution also so the soap is thoroughly mixed in

Might not even have to put the seran wrap on there.

EDIT: Forgot soap ingredient

I bought one of these and it takes up space but is useless. The wall plug type with a hidden sticky trap work very well, and many have outlets on them so you don't lose an outlet. Has been a staple in our kitchen for years and it catches fruit flies and regular flies that stray inside.

I've heard this works great but for the life of me i can't get good results with it, I caught 3 or 4 fruit flies in 2 days, while there were dozens flying around my fresh tomatoes 6 inches away...might have to give this gizmo a try

I had one, but it wasn't powerful enough to pull in a housefly.

Ohh I totally forgot an ingredient.. The most important ingredient, dish soap! Just put like a tiny drop for every half cup or so..

That breaks the surface of the water or something so that the flies feet doesn't just float ontop of the water. As soon as they touch the soapy vinegar they just straight up drown lol.

If you already did that, try twirling the solution around so that the walls get a bit of that coating. Maybe make the holes bigger in the seran wrap. I just use one of those wooden meat skewers

According to this video, the Trap It by Zap ($14 each on Amazon) is better due to brighter light and included scented bait... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewYsu8zRYNQ

Coats their exoskeleton so they suffocate. Regular water doesn't do this but adding soap makes it stick. Also works great in a super soaker if you have pesky wasps and an aversion to RAID (or the cost of RAID).

Seems like a good deal. I bought a similar black one for the same price. Keeps my garage free of random flies. Unfortunately, the fans crack and go out of balance in a few months of constant use. I'm on my second unit and it's already starting the fan clicking. Time to swap it out.

I've got one of these. Agreed with prior comments on the cost of the official sticky paper refills. I've been using these (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08MZN1K2Y) instead. Just cut off the little stake part and they work great.

Lol dunno about that. Insects breath through their exoskeleton? lol

Sounds like a very fancy way of saying they drown..

I took the bottom off mine and just set it over a jar lid with some soapy water and the fan pushes them in the water
