yeah that was concern me at first. After i watch YouTube review, X40 vs L40. L40 have better rate. Amazon review seem to be malfuntion issues. I just think it come with warranty, as long as it arrive without malfuntion it good, if not just exchange it. Over all, with it features and at $500 price, it beat all other competitors at this price. For me it worth the shot.

L40 Ultra was $450 on Dreame's website like a week ago.. I bought one, very pleased with it.

Like a few mentioned before, I bought this vacuum a few weeks back when it was $450 with 3 year warranty directly from Dreame's site. Based on reviews and my experience so far, this thing is worth every penny as it has features of vacuums costing 2-3x more. Hopefully this thing won't break.

If you wait around, the cheapest dreame l10s ultra refurb should be under $200. Vacuum and mop (base has auto empty plus auto clean mop)

Just not as many features as the higher end (not as good suction, no led light, cold water not hot water mop cleaning etc), but are those features worth twice the price?

got it for second days.work flawless! no issues so far. I got other vacuum with mop few years back. this unit beat my previous unit. esp the mop. My other one mob real suck. spent over 1k with other unit. It could be technology updated, other unit few years ago. Anyway, very happy with this unit. it did good job with clean & mop. My floor is LVP, no carpet. Glad i bough this model not L20. L20 you have to used Dreame clean liquid, this unit you can used your own.
