This may be a really stupid question but I've been out of the loop for a while in gaming but is there any way to play an Xbox version here on the PC through any app or whatever or do you have to have the Xbox console

There's a thing called "Xbox Play Anywhere" where if you purchase an Xbox digital game, you'll be given the PC version to play on the Xbox PC app. Not all games are Xbox Play Anywhere. Battlefield 4 isn't one of them sadly.

It would be underneath the title. Additionally, you can find a list of Xbox Play Anywhere titles here [xbox.com].

Still play this on PC a lot. Sadly BF 2042 turned out to be crap but I heard rumor about BF6 already.

Still play this weekly, lots of servers to choose from. Some better than others, got BF2042 and play that every so often, it's not bad but I keep coming back to BF4 if I need my fix. For this price, it's a no brainer, get it, you'll like it.

Does it have campaign mode or is it strictly online multiplayer?

a number of years ago, I really got into bf4. I put in over 3,000 hours into it over a few years.

fun experience. Sadly for me, over a few years , ...90 percent of population didn't play to get the team win, so it was more a each man for himself game, ... and gaming as whole went to fortnite, which is the direction gaming went to. In the beginning of battlefield gaming there was team based gaming by most of the player base, and we made friends helping each other win with medic/support/ect/ groups. I missed the team-based buddy-buddy experience when 2 armies played to win the game. Smilie

This is good price for game, just lost the interest, but I did put 3,000 hours into this one game, so I'm allowed to lose interest. Smilie try-hard player. Smilie

Like you said (it is blast to be in goal oriented team game) when you play with team based gamers, one guy is tank guy, another is repair guy, one guy scouts , one player can heal, etc ... forming squads and also tactics. But NO, in the End for me, no fun, just tons of guys on roofs, or mountains trying to get sniper kills.
