That 20-70 lens is great. I switched from 24-105G, and it's sharper and has a wider reach while remaining light and compact. I got an open box deal about a month ago from a local Best Buy for $560, and it was a great deal then, but this is much better.

It should work. However, there are a couple of smaller issues. 1) Being a full frame, you are carrying a lens that is much bigger and heavier than what you need: APS-C zoom lenses with similar range would be much smaller and lighter than this; 2) it lacks lens-based image stabilization, so if your body doesn't come with in-body image stabilization (like a6000,6100,6400), then you won't get the Steady-Shot.

No dice on ordering the S5ii. Had my hopes up when it carted, but wouldn't allow checkout. Confirmed with chat support that it is, in fact, a website error.

That's a shame. I was ready to jump on it too but same issue. This camera really should be priced lower at this point but who knows with these tariffs.
