I bought this for the same planer but I regret it.
You're better off buying a solid wood nightstand or a small chest of drawers from fb marketplace or Craigslist for like $25 and sticking some caster wheels on it. It will have the same mobility but most importantly will also have storage.

Or if you have this planer there's a good chance you can build a stand with storage at exactly the height you need it!

Has anyone tried using this to mount a jobsite table saw? I have to check dimensions with my Hercules saw but I'm looking for something to make it easier to move around and use. (I'm not driving it anywhere)

A heavy duty mobile base alone can be anywhere from $50 to $100+ for the nicer heavy duty ones. It's overpriced at $150 but at or a quick and dirty mobile work station with yellow branding $107 shipped to your door seems reasonable. I plan on making a regular cabinet out of it.

There are a couple of youtube videos on building a stand. The big deal is to incorporate a small shop vac into the stand if you do not have a collection system or a back yard to shoot the shavings into.

Have this stand, no complaints. You can just build a box with storage into the shelf if you really need it. Very sturdy and never feels like it's going to topple over when moving it.

Why mobile base? Just stick some caster wheels to the bottom of a chest of drawers or nightstand…

All the drawers are already made for you. There are so many people getting rid of solid wood furniture at a fraction of the price on fb matketplace; I feel terrible when I imagine someone doing that to one of my creations in the future.

I have 2 of the WEN stands also and I like them. best price I've seen is $152 at home depot and/or amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09253W...dp_it&th=1

I ordered one of these Dewalts though to compare. it looks about the same except it has an MDF top and doesn't have the extension rollers - which tend to be too short anyway. We'll see.

You don't say why you regret the purchase. If I want my shop to look like an ad for Harbor Freight I'll go to the free at curb deals.
