Korean air isn't this the airline with the nut job CEO woman? Think she ordered a Korean air plane back to the San Francisco terminal when one of her hostess employees did not open a bag of nuts for her and merely placed it on her seat tray.

Also didn't one of it's planes run over some Chinese girl after landing due to pilot inexperience?

Not exactly an airline you can trust.

Wrong on both accounts. Almost 11 years ago, the VP, Heather Cho, ordered the plane back to the gate at JFK, ultimately because she felt that the nuts should be served on a plate in First Class and not just given in a bag. The flight delay was minimal at 20 minutes, but it still was dangerous and an abuse of power. Cho resigned soon after.

The other incident you mentioned was Asiana Airlines, and that one was in San Francisco.

How can you just spout bad information and then claim that the airline can't be trusted?

Singapore is beautiful. But IMO, anyone that has any sense of adventure and curiosity should just skip it and go to any of the neighboring countries unless you have ample time to travel.

The place is so sterile and soulless. My experience of it when I was there was that dinging out, shopping, and a keeping up a general nouveau riche vibe were the only things that many of the citizens did; to be fair though, people were very kind. Knowing what I know now, if I did go back, I'd spend far more time in the migrant neighborhoods instead of the main city center.
