Because this was just released a few days ago and once the current supply that is in the USA is bought up all the rest imported will be tariffed - this price isn't going to be cheaper for a long time.

That said, it's only $50 more than the X4 originally sold for at MSRP and you get it bundled here that's actually worth it like the Micro SD and 2nd Battery.

The X5 has a better microphone, better waterproofing, longer battery life and most of all user replaceable lenses that can be bought for $30.

I think something like a DJI Pocket 3 would be superior for toddlers and indoor shots since it has a mechanical gimbal and 1" sensor. The insta360 is more for action and outdoor use.

Pocket 3 will have better image quality, smoother motion, and easier to grab video files. The insta360 is more action oriented so its more durable and allows you to reframe shots later (don't have to worry about framing your subject while shooting) but you have to go in and export the video files using the insta app.

- More discreet (insta360 needs the selfie stick to really shine)

- Good image quality in sunlight, mediocre image quality with low light or indoors

- Need to be mounted on a selfie stick for best shots (not discreet)
