It seems every protein bar/whey thread will have its detractors.

If no/low sugar, then the product is invariably using zero calorie sweetener and people complain about long term health effects.
If the product instead uses sugar as sweetener, then people complain about calories and "too much sugar".

When you play the game of protein, you lose or you lose. There is no middle ground.
I don't have an issue with this bar in particular, I just don't understand why there is such effort made to make all of these bars taste like a Snickers Bar with added protein. They could remove half the sugar and it would still taste fine and wouldn't be almost 300 calories.
This is a fueling protein bar, for when you're done with the gym, on a hike, or doing something strenuous.

If you want something for snacking, move along

Natural ingredients with 0 added sugars or sweeteners is the best. Avoid this junk.
Don't compromise on that.

Pretty much, when it comes to protein bars anyway. Essentially a candy bars with protein. Even then I still will probably jump on this, I'm a fan of the mint, and PB flavors.

Pure Protein Bars are not too bad with about 21 grams of protein and much less added sugar 4 or 5%

My issue with this is the Palm Kernel oil.

I recommend looking at this spreadsheet to see the homework someone else has done: https://www.reddit.com/r/MacroFac...1W6qWVfyoY

Much easier to start there and make some decisions on what you want/need.

These are my go to
Greek Yogurt (My favourite snack)
Baked Beans
Lentils
Chicken Breast

Very rarely if I am in a mood to have chocolate, I would go for https://www.amazon.com/ALOHA-Orga...B01DCT9Y4I
Thanks! Gonna keep a few chicken breasts in my car for a quick snack.
