There is no way to check the target inventory. Check in your nearest store in the app, and if it says it is available and go directly there and ask for the price. I did the same.
I got mine 1.5 years back to replace my Apple Watch and it's been the best decision - always on display with a month long battery, workout and sleep tracking, and a display that's almost impossible to crack!
