Thanks. Great price for TV with full array local dimming. Purchased for $550 a week ago and got price matched with BestBuy today. Been using this TV for few days and can tell this is better than the TCL Q681 75" TV that has local dimming and sells for same price.

Awesome deal for anyone into movies, TV shows, and light gaming (Switch or Series S). Only missing feature is 120Hz for the Series X/PS5 gamers out there.
At least some versions of this TV have a bug where motion interpolation is enabled every time you turn on the TV even if you've set it to off. https://www.amazonforum.com/s/que...ng-setting

I just got this from Costco "Samsung 75" Class - DU7200D Series - 4K UHD LED LCD TV" for $549.99 , which one is better? should i return and get this instead?
I bought the 55" version of this and after a few adjustments, the picture is really startling good for the price if you have a high quality video source. The upscaling is bad. The FireTV interface is annoying and not particularly snappy but that's the compromise for getting the TV at this price point.
Better in terms of picture quality and FireOS performance for the price. From those who grabbed the TCL 681 when Costco had it on sale for same price, the feedback I received was the picture quality is just ok, FireOs interface is slow/laggy and screen scratches easily. That being said the TCL 681 has better brightness of 600 nits compared to 400 nits on this Toshiba TV. One of the bestbuy stores had TCL 681 on display and looking at it I was not impressed with picture quality, the Hisense Tv next to it had nice contrast.

Toshiba TV's are manufactured by Hisense, in Mexico. HiSense bought Toshiba's TV business in late 2017 and has been their TV manufacturer since 2018
