Received mine (Pro Version) and find the connector to the tire very difficult to use. It not a quick connect but rather a small tiny connector you have to turn and screw onto the valve stem. Air leaks out when you screw it on and worst when you unscrew to take it off. I don't see that is possible when you are wearing gloves outside during the winter months. I will be returning this.

The cheaper one does have the quick connector and IMHO a better buy for routine tire pressure maintenance and emergency use.
fyi all of these made in china 150psi portable inflator can be bought on Temu for like $17

I ordered both the normal and later this pro version. Plan to compare and keep whatever works best for me. The pro says it should come with a quick disconnect chuck in the fourth picture and in the description, though it also suggests it doesn't fit or work for "large pickups or trucks". Just to confirm, did the one you receive not come with a quick tire chuck like it should have?

Yeah, it looks like the hose has a screw on connector but it comes with a brass looking quick connect piece you screw into the hose. I don't think I've seen a foreskin style quick connect before, only the plastic lever or some sort of inverted spring grip that unlocks when you squeeze it.

No it did not, the connector is really a PIA to use, the non pro one works great, also for some reason the non pro led light seems brighter.

I have the pro version and it comes with the quick-release chuck - you just have to screw it on the hose.
Like it this way - so I have a choice of what sort of chuck to use.

Pro version is definitely what you'd need for a EV. Heavy and higher psi to begin with.

You don't want a quick disconnect with something that goes up to 150psi. I have a similar one from Fantik and it is also screw on much like a shock pump. You don't want a quick disconnect at those pressures.

The biggest issue with an inflator is heat.

I see this has a very small internal fan, but no heatsink in the cross section hmmm. Heat is what tends to break these over time.

Not an issue if you're just topping off, but if you're inflating a tire from flat you might have to give it a 5 min break half-way.

Exactly what I was thinking. I bought an exact replica (re-branded as "AstroAI") a few months ago from Lowes for $20.

edited....the AstoAI one has a smaller battery. I didn't realize they are different.

Not the same thing. That weighs less than 1lb and one in Wolfbox branded weights 4.5 lbs.
