Have the T300 version. It shows 50.0 and 100.1 at 50 and 100 psi (tested with Fluke 700G06 +/-0.05% accuracy full scale). This T500 is probably off by 0.2 psi max up to 100 psi. Good value if you need the extras.

My 1981 Made in USA Milton Accu Gage shows a maximum error of -0.4 psi at 60 psi (full scale). A well made Bourdon gauge can last forever with proper care.

Wish I didn't buy one earlier this month from Harbor Freight. It has an analog gauge and accurate to within +/- 2psi

The T300 often goes on sale for $4 if you sign up for Amazon prime promo. It's a simple device designed for maximum accuracy at this price point. Apply the gauge off-axis to bleed off air. Buy a $1 presta valve adapter if you have a tire with presta valve.

There's absolutely nothing inside the screw-on sleeve that should be turning when you screw it on, which is what would be needed to to happen unscrew any valve stem.
If your is unscrewing the valve stem then it's defective or binding and is a rare fluke. That plus your valve stem was too loose to begin with.
That's not a reasonable warning for screw-on connectors at all.
