European countries who were at the forefront of all this idiocy are now banning these practices. The research has proven how harmful and permanent the effects are from these therapies, so hopefully the US is starting to follow suit. It's a form of child abuse that has become a huge moneymaker at some of these medical facilities. These surgeries can cost $100,000 total and the hormones that must be taken for life are big business for some of these centers.

The "protection" trans kids need is from mutilation and hormonal therapy. How ironic those who call for "protecting trans kids" are using it as a call for ensuring these procedures go on in perpetuity.
