100% of my ExOfficio boxer-briefs became stretched and unusable in the waistline elastic after a couple years. Probably 100's of dollars worth... massive thumbs down on the company. Looking at some reddit forums, there are way better options on the market now.

As long as they'll last. If one brand lasts five years and another lasts two, and they cost the same, seems prudent to buy the 5 year ones.

Yes I've had issues with the normal ones, the sport ones haven't had the same issues. I'm on year five with most

Exact reason I stopped buying them. All three of my everyday boxers did the same thing, and I dont think I even got 2 years out of mine. I have other boxers also, so I'm not even rotating these 3 out by themselves. But my Buck Naked ones are still going strong since Duluth opened back up after the lockdowns.

Opposing experience here, most of mine are 5+ years old and still look nearly new. I tumble dry with no heat for a bit then lay them out to dry

Switched to Buck Naked like 7 years ago and never looked back! Regularly cheaper than this as well.

Edit: Thanks to the person who downvoted my taste in underwear. Everyone's different. ExOfficio felt thin and rode up my thighs. Buck Naked feels more solid for me. Some people prefer one, some prefer another. Just saying Buck Naked is a worthy competitor that is often the same price as this sale.

Same experience. I have several Champion and Under Armour pairs bought around the same time which didn't do this.

The crazy price + bad quality experiences = never again.

Same here. I even bought some new ones I didn't actually need when they were on sale just to see if they changed the way they made them. Those are going strong 3 years in now.

I really wasn't a fan of the Duluth Trading alternative that comes highly recommended here. Wasn't anywhere near as breathable as the Ex-Officio.
