The problem is just how small the truck is. People will be drawn in by the appearance, and mistakenly think this is as big as a full-size pickup.

However, this is very small, think '80s Toyota mini truck

i jsut thought it was an interesting 'deal' in the sense that it is by far the cheapest EV truck on the market, if they can actually hit that price point, so ...

It's back by Jeff Bezos. It's a tiny truck, good enough for DIY's like me who don't need a F150 for work but just need a rough truck for off-road fun (my main car is Model Y). It's actually a very good price is it stays at this price after launch.

sure..it might be a great value proposition if they deliver the advertised product at the price. (not here to debate any of this or crap on the truck) but pretty sure this is a forum for *slick deals* not *products we think are good value and/or offer a unique feature set in comparison to its market competitors*

this is noise at best, and ad at worst. hence the thumbs down. plenty of car and truck forums and social media channels to talk about this thing otherwise.

I agree that putting this in Hot Deals is ridiculous and if it wasn't a staff member posting it would have already been moved to deal talk or something.

That price tag includes a 7500 tax credit so they actually want almost 30 g's for this hot garbage. With which you could buy yourself a nice used Tacoma
