Are you affiliated with ecoflow in any way? It's kind of the only thing you've ever posted about for years.

Just curious. I want to make sure I'm getting objective advice.
i don't know anything about this product, but putting an air conditioner in a car with the windows closed, no matter what the air conditioner is... that's going to heat your cabin. That's just physics.. your'e creating heat.
Not affiliated, just like the brand and a new release is a big deal. I post all kinds of stuff, most camping related from Coleman, sawyer, etc.

I had the wave 2 and it was great but needed more btu, this seems to address the old issues of water leaking and higher btu. It just came out so only beta testers have reviews, you can check youtube. Gonna be a great unit at that intro pricing!

I use it as a spot cooler when working on the car so it could definitely be put on a golf cart.

What do you use this for? I have the wave 2 and it couldnt even cool down a 1992 corolla. Rolling the windows down is cooler.

Yea because windows aren't insulated. People have unrealistic expectations.

Insulated windows?

You really think this thing in a sealed car would *COOL IT DOWN*?

Spot cooling as was mentioned above *IN OPEN AIR* might work, but in the end this puts off more heat than it extracts

IF you put this in any sealed area, it will heat that area up, period.
Claiming otherwise is downright bs lying.

I have a wave 2 without a battery. it's not very stable and from my understanding if it falls over on it's side, it needs to (or might itself) power off and not be used for 30mins or 1 hour. I'm not 100% sure of the time, nor if it's an auto feature or not, but I do remember it being a thing.

that being said, I'm sure with a battery it'll be more stable. all that weight at the bottom would help a lot. plus the wave2 seems like the weight is a little higher up in the frame, and has a slightly narrower footprint than the frame, so the center of mass rotating to tip it over has better leverage to do so.

I would think the wave3 with the battery would be a lot more stable, I'd still tie it down somehow. bungie if you must, but make sure the isn't lose. these aren't light (compared to the tensile resistance of most bungie cords 50-70% of full length).

Sorry for making that so long. these cost a decent amount, and I don't want you to deal with shipping something this awkward back if you don't need to.
