I had the wave 2 and it was great but needed more btu, this seems to address the old issues of water leaking and higher btu. It just came out so only beta testers have reviews, you can check youtube. Gonna be a great unit at that intro pricing!
You sure can! I love that they made them backward compatible.
I use it as a spot cooler when working on the car so it could definitely be put on a golf cart.

No problem!
Yea because windows aren't insulated. People have unrealistic expectations.

You really think this thing in a sealed car would *COOL IT DOWN*?
Spot cooling as was mentioned above *IN OPEN AIR* might work, but in the end this puts off more heat than it extracts
IF you put this in any sealed area, it will heat that area up, period.
Claiming otherwise is downright bs lying.

that being said, I'm sure with a battery it'll be more stable. all that weight at the bottom would help a lot. plus the wave2 seems like the weight is a little higher up in the frame, and has a slightly narrower footprint than the frame, so the center of mass rotating to tip it over has better leverage to do so.
I would think the wave3 with the battery would be a lot more stable, I'd still tie it down somehow. bungie if you must, but make sure the isn't lose. these aren't light (compared to the tensile resistance of most bungie cords 50-70% of full length).
Sorry for making that so long. these cost a decent amount, and I don't want you to deal with shipping something this awkward back if you don't need to.
