No. You just can't tell. I have other real leather Adidas shoes. I swear on my mother that it's fake leather. Do you really think you'll get 100% real leather from a $20 shoe?

Most of the time, no. But these do advertise as "leather upper" and nothing else, even on Adidas' website.

Can confirm that the pair I got was real leather.

I don't do plastic shoes anymore and nobody should.

I bought them in December 24. I am a big man and wide feet and they were tight at first but now are comfortable. Will pull low sock down if laced loose like a slip on. I get allot of complements on these shoes and wear them 60 percent of the time. They clean up well with a magic eraser sponge. I wouldn't hesitate buying these.
