I just received my baking morsels from a sale 2 months ago, and I think there is a trick to ordering food items from Amazon...

If you place your order for an ultra low sale priced food item when it says ready to ship, you will probably receive food near expiration date. But if you order when it says "Will ship 1 - 2 months" you will receive fresh packaged product with a nice new 18 month away expiration.
