Ive had this brand for a few years. TLDR - Good value at $4-$5 per unit and bright enough in a rural setting using 4 to illuminate my backyard, one every 15-20 feet and a few more here and there. The included battery wont keep the lights on until morning unless they get DIRECT sunlight for 6-8 hours. Mine are mounted by hooks and I have 20 of these - I switch them out in the evening and a day of semi-direct sunlight plus a day where I place them to maximize sunlight collection keeps them on all night long at max brightness. Motion sensor works well for deer and human sized objects but a groundhog wont trip the light. Eventually, multiple individual LEDs have failed in about half the units but they still continue to work. Sometimes 1 or 2, sometimes 6 or more which shouldnt be a surprise given the price point. Id recommend running a bead of silicone where the solar panel meets the housing and drilling the smallest hole at the bottom of the battery cover to allow any condensation an escape route. This mod is worth while if you plan to mount it that makes easy access unreasonable (like I did with the one mounted at the top of my garage). The battery is a flat top type and buying a higher capacity battery more than doubles the cost of each light. That said they will accommodate a higher mAH if you were so inclined.

Bought 3 years ago. 1 recently stopped working. Took out the 18650 battery inside to use for a flashlight.

I got this last year and they were a few dollars more. They are all still working and provide some nice light. Going to get some more.

The setting (mode) button is in the back so you have to remove to adjust mode. If you set and forget, you'll be fine. If you tinker, you'll be sad.

I used this to light my pool and it is awesome. Just two for a full size lap pool provides cool ambient lighting. I used two sided velcro.

Tested all of mine and they all work. However, one is slightly dimmer but usable. Might take the bottom off and compare batteries with my older ones.

I also had a 20% coupon on the 6 pack (Front Button) which made it $20.79 before tax, and $22.25 total with tax.

Bottom is glued on so no way to check the battery without damaging the case.Big Grin

My older ones may have a bigger battery than these.

Can someone please tell me how many times the button on the back needs to be pressed to change the "mode" From A to B to C ?Has anyone figured out a foolproof method for this ?
Each press is the switch to the next mode. You start with Off, cycle to A, cycle to B, cycle to C and reset to off with each press.
You get confirmation of mode by the number of times the light flashes after each press. 1 flash is A, 2 flashes is B, and 3 flashes is C.
