Being honest here... this looks really ugly to me. What is the appeal of this backpack?

I have a Tumi backpack, purchased a couple years ago for $400. They're super well made, durable and attractive. Would I make the same purchase today? No. Plenty of good options available for cheaper.

I have this backpack and honestly it is not comfortable no matter how I adjust strap length. Longer the strap, there is gap between my shoulder and the bag. Shorter the straps, bag is hanging to high

I have this one and I really like it much better than my $450 Tumi backpack. Often goes on sale, as well.

At similar size and quality: Nomatic Travel Pack if you want organization and sections, Peak Design Travel Backpack 30L if you want a big open space.

Refer to American Dad—"it's TUMI"

Ordered one a about a week ago. Very well made bag. However, too blocky for my tastes was hoping to like the design. Ordered both bags Sam's was offering this one was nicer of the two for my needs. The other one was smaller also nice bag but too small for my travel needs.

Returned to Sam's club locally no issues. Definitely worth the shot if you like the style and brand.

I ended up with the NOMATIC from Costco. Just a better option if you want / need more space.

These Tumi bags are built extremely well.

Tumi is not manufactured in the US anymore, so this sale price should probably be theit normal price... $700. For this bag is just crazy. Imo.

They have Tumi outlets at Tangers that sell cheaper versions of their bags, this bag felt like the better bags they make. However, I'm no expert on Tumi.

Nice bag all the same.

For those wondering why this is so expensive

1. it's Tumi (American Dad)
2. It's part of the consulting uniform (iykyk)

Pretty old design. After 6 years of faithful work travel, Nomadic backpack is way more functional and comfortable
