I bought this instead of the 7700x this time after learning it was the exact same price had a small uplift in performance over that cpu. Also it has a much lower tdp so it runs cooler. And it boosts a little higher. Much better efficiency wise. Games well and I didn't see a reason to pay another $250 to $300 for a x3d chip. It has done a great job and runs cool with the Lian li aio i am using. Great deal on a motherboard combo with 32gb ram 6000 cl30 for $399 at Microcenter.

I believe you're correct, I've never seen a free memory bundle with 6000 30. It's always 36 or 38.

There have been microcenter bundles with cl30 and cl32 but recently they have been swapping out to cl36 and cl38.

I just bought the 9600x for around $220 with free 32gb ram from Newegg, so far working pretty sweet, am i missing out on 9700x? the price is negligible at these falling rates...
