I purchased 2 back in 2018 and they're still running great. They've even taken several falls from 6 feet from the ground onto bathroom tile. I like to listen to podcasts or music in the shower and I have them precariously balancing on the top of walk in shower walls, but when grabbing the towel, I'll on occasion knock one off. So they've lived through to some abuse.
The best feature they have is when you have two you can pair them so you have a true stereo experience. One will play the left channel of music, the other will play the right channel. This isn't just mono playing out of both, but true stereo. $14 for a true wireless stereo speakers isn't bad. On the description on amazon it looks like you can pair 2-4 speakers, but it does mention the OontZ app. I don't have the app and I can pair 2 speakers just fine to each other and to my phone, so maybe 3-4 speakers requires the app? I'm not sure... Two is fine for most situations. Maybe buy 4 if you're wanting to use them in a very large room or outside, or if you're wanting to hear Audiobooks while making smoothies with the blender running in the morning.
Right now they're $49.99 on Amazon, which is high compared to them usually being for sold for $39.99. Hard to say if $50 is the new price because of tariffs or not... on April 4th-7th it was for sold at $28.50 on Amazon. These prices are just for a single unit. So if you wanted stereo pairing on these and you bought them on Amazon right now, you'd spend $100. Which, to be honest, is way too much. If both of mine were to say fall off of a boat into a lake, I'd probably only want to spend around $45 to replace the pair of them.
