This is actually my go to bean for espresso when I am not experimenting with whatever is on sale. Its well balanced. Slightly sweet, not overly bitter, not too sour. Pretty much keeps everyone happy. I use a Breville grinder, and espresso machine. My setting are this:
Burr (inner/outer): 4/8
Grind Time: 7.4s
Pull Time: 15s-18s
Retail (Freshness) Consistency: 3/5
These are very similar to the Kicking Horse Three Sisters blend if you guys ever tried that. In fact it might be the same beans though they are roasted differently. The Three Sisters bean is a lot more moist. You have to set your burr setting larger (Burr (inner/outer): 5/12) else it will choke your espresso machine. You also need a longer pull. Otherwise its the same amount of crema as the Amazon Peruvian, and practically same taste at a higher price point (obviously).
