Put your PBJ and bananas in a bucket for five years.
I find it amusing that these emergency foods are pictured with parsley and other toppings on a set table in gleaming cookware.

Shouldn't they be shown cooked in a tin can over a fire of pillaged library books?
Great first post and deal!!! This same item is $142.89 on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003DL8OS8. Again, great job on your first post and thank you!

When will someone need this? Maybe when natural disaster hits or another pandemic? In 2020 people were panic buying canned foods, shelf stable foods which in hindsight wasn't really necessary for some

People keep asking what the use of these are. I like to use meals like MREs and Mountain House meals if I'm camping or fishing for a day and don't want to get a whole meal going. Also great for hiking or anything outdoors where you're in the woods. Doesn't have to just be for emergencies.

Feels like a lot of these are not protein heavy.

Stuff like oatmeal, pasta already has a long shelf life and is in regular rotation in the house to not have to get this.
