Got Sonic 10gig fiber so I bought this and a 10gig switch to maximize my 10gig internet connection. This single unit provides better wifi signal than my previous three Deco XE75 units. Fan is a little loud so dont buy this for a bedroom.

This is the cheapest all in one router with two 10g ports for people that have a 10gig internet connection. Calling people dummy because you dont have a use case for it and or cant afford it is wild.

I was thinking to get this model, but then I read about the constant rebooting issue that several (but not all) users have reported: https://community.tp-link.com/en/...pic/722180
They will give you beta firmware to try and it may or may not fix the reboot issue, and could introduce other issues. So, I decided to wait, for now.
I am running an Asus GT-AXE16000 that I paid $700 for in 2022. It has been rock solid. I switched to Sonic 10Gbps fiber and discovered that the Asus router has one flaw: it sometimes fails to get an IP from Sonic for several minutes (~20 minutes), which was why I was looking at upgrading to this TP-Link model. The Asus doesn't have wifi7 but I have a wired backbone throughout the house anyway so not an issue for me.
You have 30 days to try or return back to Amazon. I was skepctical but I tried it and it has been stable and worked well for me for over a month, no reboot and it has been on since day one. Getting a little over 8000mb and 7300mb on speed tests on the 10gb port through my TP link 10gb switch with Sonic 10gig...wifi 7 im getting around 4000mb up and down on my wifi 7 phone.

This is a deal for someone who wants a bleeding-edge WIFI 7 router without paying $500 to $1000 for features and port speeds. I have had three TP-LINK routers, and two died within a year of purchase, including a BE550/BE9900 WIFI 7 router which rebooted every 5 minutes. One was replaced by TP-LINK and the other not. I'd recommend "avoid" for TP-LINK hardware until their quality control gets better.
anything over $100 my huge a$$ is crawling in the ceiling pulling CAT6e cables

Right. But you still need a router with a 10G port as ingress to your network. That's why these are attractive (along with support for the latest WiFi bands).

Does this router work with the TP-Link OneMesh or whatever it is called?

It's funny in the past I've had nothing but problems with expensive netgear routers especially during Covid
Agreed. I am not a huge fan of Netgear routers. I have an older Nighthawk R7000 still going but struggling; it needs to be restarted once every few months for a smoother experience supporting nearby streaming boxes and other network devices. I also have Nighthawk RAXE290 (6E AXE7300). It is newer, snappier, and doesn't need to be restarted as often but it only got better after a number of firmware updates. Performance was choppier shortly after its release. I will probably try UniFi routers on my next upgrade.

Just bought one. 20% Amazon prime cashback makes the deal slicker. My Costco BE11000 mesh router seems to be unstable so I'd like to try this one outs

What a strange turn of events. I apparently do have one. It's on my Chase account but not linked to my Amazon account.. but I haven't used it in years, possibly ever, and I don't actually recall getting one in the mail. I just asked Chase to send me another one..

I bought this 1 month ago when it was 399. So far it's the best router I've ever owned.

How's the coverage so far? Any obstacles? Multiple reports mention poor coverage.

I have this for over a month and the coverage is better than my three deco X75 units. I was planning to use this as just a router for my 10g Sonic connection and disable the wireless and purchase 3 upgraded deco units(deco b63 or b65 pro)...but the embedded wireless on this unit is so good so I didn't buy a new Deco set.

This unit has the fastest speed for your wired 10g connection out there:

You want to correct yourself yet for not actually reading the article and their source information, or do you want me to mention how your rehashing an article from last year but with a date from two days ago with nothing new to add?
