out of all the coffee deals, Stumptown was the best and freshest roast, by far. it was also stamped with a roasting date so you know it didnt sit too long on a shelf until Amazon decided to put it on sale. None of the other brands have a roasting date. I tried so many...Lavazza all flavors, Caribou, Camerons, Kicking Horse, Amazon brand medium roast, the worst was Community and Charbucks. I only buy whole beans and brew in a MoccaMaster.
How does this taste vs super crema? I tried 2-3 other ones like lavazza espresso and it just tastes burnt.
Charleston signature blend is a Costco local item in your city/state and not in all Costco nationwide. It's a thing.

Espresso fiend here. Lavazza gran crema is a good get from amazon but the others are hit & miss. If you are a hardcore drinker like I am, I recommend the coffeebeansdirect brand, its on amazon and a 5lb foil lined bag is about $45 and can be kept fresh for weeks on end if you have storage.

Excellent quality (doesnt produce a heavy crema but flavor is great) and can't beat the bulk price.

Lavazza sucks. La Colombe Nizza medium roast is fantastic. My two cents.

Can anyone tell me, who have bought coffee beans from Amazon, how long the bags of coffee have been out? I doubt it's immediately fresh, but if it's within 1-3 months I may opt for this.

Already 68 TU and FP. Are folks buying because can't pass on a good deal or does this taste good?

I bought this from italybest seller in amazon last month which was packed in jan 2025 (expiry jan 2027). This tasted good. For the price this is good. Regular price 18$, at that price I prefer rutamaya which is organic and tastes better.
I got old stocks in amazon especially during sale in the past. So mostly its luck.

I personally don't mind Lavazza for mid coffee -- typically a good price point, but I only do espresso drinks and I don't believe these are espresso beans.

Got this to save since everything is going up in price. Won't likely use it for a month or 2. Is it better to open it, spilt it into portions and vacuum seal each portion and freeze it? Or just leave the package unopened?

"Qualita Oro" is usually considered their better bean selection thus the "gold" series. This is 100% arabica with 5/10 intensity so it will be on the milder and sweeter side with possibly more oil depending on how you make it. Generally you should take this with low or no milk if making espresso. All that being said at the end of the day your results depend on how you grind and make your espresso.
source: been drinking italian coffee since being a kid who grew up in europe (probably not a good thing lol)

Perhaps; I guess it's just a "darker roast"
