Thanks for sharing. I ended up purchasing the Super Crema [amazon.com] for $13.10 (after 5% S&S from $13.79) and Crema e Aroma [amazon.com] for $8.54 (after 5% S&S off $8.99). Have you had either of these; if so, how do they compare to Qualità Oro?

I have mostly been drinking craft, single-origin coffee at home lately, and surprisingly haven't had Lavazza, so I'm excited to try these two varieties next week.

I always appreciate deals on whole bean coffee; most deals seem to be for ground coffee and coffee in capsules (e.g., Keurig, Nespresso).

Take care,
Tofu Vic

I personally only recommend the 100% arabica variants as the robusta seem to make my coffee tooo bitter for my taste. Maybe I need to learn hot to better handle those blends, but so far I stay with arabica. And this one is indeed 100% arabica.

Lavazza used to be so much better back a few years ago. As of today Illy has taken the throne

Those 2 are coffee blends of arabica and robusta and not my best choice. I would say it will depend on how ypu make the coffee and your particular taste, but all in all, I would put tge qualita oro considerably above the two you mentioned.

Does gold packaging mean it's the fanciest lavazza blend? Just bought the other variety for a few $ less. Does this one worth the extra $?

Traditionally, robusta is added to "espresso blends" as it enhances creation of Crema. 3rd way coffee moved away from that in favor of fruity and more acidy notes and lighter roasts. This is traditional Italian espresso blend. Personally, I enjoy both and this is great coffee for the money.

Thanks for pointing these two out. I too made an order. Always love to pay for my coffee at lower prices, never at regular 😁
