If you have it set up as a DMR, sure. Probably better on a bolt action though.

I realize this isn't some top of the line brand-name but for 10 bucks just to help me steady my AR at the range to sight it in.... This should work.

I had this on an AR-10 (.308) and it did well, currently have it mounted on a bolt action .308 without the rail adapter. Just be aware this is heavy, but if you plan on bench or prone shooting that is less of a concern.

FWIW, my picatinny adapter is slightly loose (compared to what I assume is a standard rail I had it attached to), but 'shimming' it slightly with a layer of grip tape on both sides gets rid of the wiggle. IMO not a deal breaker.

Great bang for the buck, bought one last time they dropped and was pleased. It's not perfect but for the money you can't beat it
