Delta 3 Plus for $479 has much better electronics, you can always add more capacity later but the core electronics will never improve

Delta 3 Plus refurb from eBay is $469 with SAVEONPOWER plus tax total cost $513 with 2 years warranty vs new one from wellbots right now $534 no tax and 5 year warranty . Plus this delta 2 max extra battery $659+tax+2year-warranty might be better combination.

Do you happen to have a coupon code for wellbots? I'm seeing it as $629 on their site.

for reference, temu had brand new delta 2 max plus 800w alternator charger for $860 after $120 coupon off.

I was also going to get the Delta 3 Plus, but got a good deal on a brand new delta 2 for $300 and then bought a refurbished Alternator charger for $209. I was going to the Plus because of the two mppt to so I could add a 12v battery I already have to one of the mppt. However, getting the Alternator charger would be better way better and cheaper in my case.

code "APRIL15" still works for D3P $534.61 (15% off from $629) or D3P+EB $930.30 (15% off from $1118). tax free for my state other EF items are taxable

Could you say more? What is the main upgrade of the core electronics? Is the mttp controller and inverter upgraded? I read somewhere the mttp contorller are the same between Delta 3 plus and d2 max.

It's an empty statement that may not apply to everyone.

The new D3+ has things like hybrid charging, 15ms UPS mode, etc

But it also has half the internal capacity, and a smaller inverter.

As someone that has multiple D3+ I just ordered a D2M the other day for situations like job site usages where the D3+ would shut down from overloading the inverter with a single saw.

I am not sure the D2M will handle it, but I'm 99% sure it will and of course the extra capacity is nice.
