These are Guitar Center exclusive versions of the Alvarez Laureate Series LD70e and LF70e.
For those who missed
this deal(now sold out) on the MD710e the LD710e is is basically the same guitar but slightly different (higher-end) appointments.
FWIW I bought the MD710e a few weeks ago. Happy to field any questions but the TL;DR on it is I've been very happy with it and impressed by the quality. These models are targeted at people wanting something in the wheelhouse of a Martin OM-28 or D-28.
Alvarez advertises the LF710e and LD710e with a "Daybreak Gloss" which they state is "designed to be as thin as possible while maintaining a gorgeous luster, allowing the guitar to breathe and resonate freely, further contributing to its exceptional tonal qualities." My guess this is the primary difference from the MD710e?
Other than that, these have a 'blingier' rosette, no pickguard, and more conventional bridge design (i.e. not a mustache bridge) than their Masterworks equivalents (MD710e, MD70e, MF70e).
Features:
- Solid AAA Sitka spruce top for enhanced resonance and projection
- Solid East Indian rosewood back and sides for deep, balanced tone
- Hand-finished FS6 bracing system for superior responsiveness
- Daybreak gloss finish for a warm, vintage-inspired aesthetic
- All-ebony appointments for a premium, refined feel
- Bone nut and saddle for enhanced sustain and clarity
- LR Baggs Hi-Fi pickup system for natural amplified tone
- D'Addario XTAPB1253 strings for longevity and consistency

That's the LF710e. Same price and linked in the original post. Go get one!
Nice! Have you played a lot of other guitars to compare it against? I have a Collings and Goodall (although both sitka and east indian rosewood as well) currently and am looking for something thats a lot less valuable to take around with me when I take a guitar out of the house
Too bad it doesnt come with a case. I am on the fence about it because I dont "need" another guitar hahaha. For a nicer class guitar though I would have appreciated a case even for extra protection during shipping at least
I think i read someone review and mention that on the other recent thread. I believe they are QCed here though

I use this Alveraz mainly for camping and pool-side playing, so it's lived a hard live. So far, after 2? years, it's holding up excellent.
I can record a sound sample if anybody is interested. I'm more of a dreadnought player, but I have a few much more expensive 000-sized guitars that I can compare it against. This Alveraz does not come up short.
Alveraz seems to be a hidden gem in the acoustic guitar world.

Nice - what did you pay for yours btw? And what other nicer guitars do you have? Honestly, My budget for a 'beater' is no more than $500-600 but it seems hard-pressed to find anything in that range these days that isn't laminate. I think there was a Breedlove guitar that may have been all solid wood and was in that price range (if im not mistaken). I think i was kicking myself over not getting itβ¦ ahh yes it was the all breedlove wildwood pro african mahogany (all solid top, back and sides) for $479 at mf!! π€¦
For 000-size, I still have a Taylor 712ce and Martin 000-28; oh, just remembered, I also have a Martin 000-15M-SM. I might have others; I don't play 000 acoustics much. As I've mentioned, this Alvarez can hang with any of those guitars. I really can live with just this Alvarez in the 00 department (but selling is a pain, so I kept those guitars. Actually, more accurately, those were the guitars I couldn't sell on Craigslist back in the days. Alway, I used to only play 000's when I first started, that's why I have them).
Anyway, don't buy a guitar just because of the price.
Hardcases are a real pain in the storage logistics if you have a small house. Currently, I have 8 guitars on racks, that means I've got 8 empty hardcases taking up room in my garage (not to mention the numerous cases with guitars in my closet). This storage issue is preventing me from buying more guitars.
