Sams allowed me to create a new account with the same credentials after a 6 month lapse. You lose all of your purchase history in the app and have to get a new card in store but besides that no issues.

Anyone know if they're still doing the $15 membership in club? I didn't check my local ones and it was a YMMV deal

I just let my account lapse without renewing. Is there a way to sign up as a new member by using a different phone number, email, and address?

If I was a complementary card member on another persons account, but their membership ended, can I sign up for this promo myself?

I have had the Plus membership with Sams for a few years now. It includes a cashback bonus as a percentage. That cashback comes out to about the cost of my membership every year.

And I don't even buy that much, it's just me and my wife. So the membership pretty much pays for itself.

Does Sam's ever run a basic club membership for free sale?

I didn't realize that curbside pickup, which I really like, is also available for standard members, albeit with $50 in purchases, which, to be honest, is what we at least end up spending on many occasions. I try not go into the club since you end up making so many impulse purchases!!! I'm still leaning towards a plus membership, but it's becoming a harder call.

You can show your "card" in the Sam's Club app to the greeter, as well as scan its barcode at checkout (if not doing Scan and Go) and at their gas pumps. I haven't bothered to get a physical card in years.

If you have a Sams nearby, the early shopping (8AM - 10AM) is worth the Plus membership. Everything is pristine, and short lines at checkout.

I just got my membership back off Groupon last week for same price. Letting Costco expire next month. It's way to crowded for me.

Idk if it depends on the region, but none in my city actually follow that. Any membership can go that early. But also if you use their Scan and Go, there are no lines at checkout to deal with.

In general, Sam's club is good for me: checking out with the app is very convenient and fast. However, the Sam's club in Edison NJ sometimes tries to make it difficult for me to return stuff like laptops.

The 2% cash back feature is the main reason we went with Plus.
