There was 7 but I guess they all sold out in the time it took to post this deal.

Local pickup only or alternate seller for $1299

Yea I grabbed one. Seemed like a decent deal. A review was comparing it against the blade. It was saying it was mediocre but that's cause they were asking $1800 at the time.

It has been this price for 3 months. Why I know that? I have it in my cart forever. Always in stock.

I see it refurbished for $999, but only third party seller new.
Edit: Still probably a deal at $999 refurbished from Acer.

Metal but thin. It's supposed to be in the premium category but at the low end. It's got a $1,800 list but sold for $1600 from Sept 2024 on release til March when it dropped to $1,000 but only on Walmart.

It's 110W listed but confirmed 125W boost. Up there with large offerings. Perhaps the CPU lowers the total thermal envelope. I'm not worried about the 16 GB but the I7 155H gives pause.

The ram is premium too, It's at the 6400 mbps max LPDDR5X which outperforms most DDR5 sticks in gaming laptops around this price. Being LPDDR5X it can actually hit 8500 mbps with the right profile.

I just can't find anything else in this range with a small form factor, decent monitor with 400+ nits, decent/premium build and good hardware. I was fine with the 4060 but at $999.

Oh and $89 three year, $109 four year. Not sure if I'll do that. It's Allstate

Why it a bad deal? Other than the ram. Not seeing comparable in this form factor
It's not a bad deal at all. It only got downvoted because the deal wasn't / isn't available to a lot of people and they are not able to get the $999 price.

Does anyone know why all LPDDR5X laptops can't be upgraded? In the same line, they also don't sell LPDDR5X SODIMMs, that I know of.
