Ultimately ymmv when it comes to quality, and this applies to everyone. Is your water hard or soft? Is your dishwasher older or newer? Do you leave your dishes soaking or are they dry and crusty? Do you pre rinse beforehand?
I have moderately hard water, probably 250 TDS before filtration. I also have a Samsung dishwasher that's probably 7 years old. Finish Quantum and Cascade Platinum work the best for me. Costco is 95% as good, every now and then one or two dishes may not come out completely clean.
I load my dishwasher with dirty dishes, I don't pre rinse (just scrape debris into trash if it's excessive, wipe out grease from my air fryer basket and toss that in the trash).
I ultimately buy Finish and Cascade's premium pods when they're on sale, but if they're not I'll buy Costco knowing that it does almost as good a job for me.

There was no difference! And in some cases, the costco one worked better. A couple of plastic bowls turned yellow color and I thought they were done after so many washes with Cascade. Now the Kirkland turned them to white again!

Sam's currently has premium plus 82 ct for 25$ which is what I usually use

With dry detergent you just pour how much you need, you can even use it for pre-rinse that pods don't do.
Pouring detergent into dedicated compartment just feels right.

I have an older GE dishwasher and was considering a new one because the Costco detergent wasn't getting my dishes clean. I used the platinum plus pods and it's like a whole new dishwasher.
The Cascade Platinum pods do not leave any film on glasses
