Damn. Thought it was Entire series for $5. Not paying $5 per season.
Considering the entire collection of the seasons is normally $130, being able to by the complete series for $35 is worth it. Further, the previous low sale price was $10/season or double this. This is a great deal if you want to own the show and watch without commercials.

Same. I saw the green price and was like, "I'd be stupid not to buy the whole series for $5." It clearly states "each" in the thumbnail title, but I was unobservant.

It's on Hulu. So, I don't care enough to spend $35 to still not truly own it (since it's digital). This should be no more than maybe $20 for the whole series.

I swear. In 2025, why do media companies still peddle SD video quality? Shame on ABC for not remastering this in 4K and giving it the respect it deserves. 11 Primetime Emmys! Although not in the 100 best shows ever, the amount the Hallmark Channel pays to keep this in syndication indicates that there is STILL a faithful audience for well-delivered writing and loveable actors/actresses. I'm not even in their target demographic for this show and I'll happily watch it. This needs to be in HDX minimum and $20 or less for the whole series.

Golden Girls was shot on videotape. It will never be in HD much less 4k.

I use an app called cheap charts to track media that's on sale through Apple. Golden girls has never been priced this low since it's been on Apple, according to this cheap charts app.

They have the masters recordings. With AI, color correction, etc, they can easily remaster into 4K. I have software on my computer that can do it. So the pros can do it if they want.

Seriously. Expecting the entire series for $5 seems crazy to me. Of course I remember when single seasons of TV shows cost around $30 on DVD

We have people in this very thread saying they won't buy unless its $5 for the entire series, so I don't think the money is there for a restoration. Plus I personally haven't been super impressed with the weird invented details that AI upscaling tends to produce.

This is actually a great deal. I've been watching for a bundle for a LONG time. My wife goes to bed watching/listening to this every night and has for 15+ years. We have the all recorded on our Tivo that hasnt been active in 5 years, and I worried it's going to die at some point. This is a good backup.

Same, as a kid growing up with only 12 channels, I can watch this at anytime; along with ST:TNG
