Yeah, from experience, NEVER buy a TV bigger than 65" in person. Let someone else deliver that monstrosity
Oh boy in 10 years you won't need walls just TV's to build a home 😅
Bro for $10 you might want to bite the bullet 😂

Where are all the people in this thread that said they picked up the TV already? What are your thoughts/opinions on it? Is it just a huge ugly looking IPS LCD screen like the Reddit comments said?
I'll chime in. I'm definitely not a snob when it comes to this stuff, and I've never had an OLED/QLED or whatever. My last TV was a Hisense 65" UHD LED whatever, that I got off here a few years ago. I think this one looks the same as my old one, just 21" bigger. I'm happy with it, but you really need another person to move this monster. I'm 6'3 240lbs and I struggled with it. My wing span cannot grab both sides. It's just over 100lbs, but it feels heavier, and depending on your house setup, just getting it through doorways can be a pain. For $600, I feel it was totally worth it.
Oh, so far I've tried watching Youtube, played some Sons of the Forest, and played some SNES9x, and it all looks fine to me.

No local dimming. It's direct lit.
This tv is perfect to act as a flashlight under black scenes.

Picked it up today, fit fine in short bed ram 1500, left tailgate down, didn't slide- I just have it plugged in on the floor with the legs, it's huge- Need to mount it but not looking forward to it... I think the picture is good for the price, but haven't dialed in any settings and was just watching from my cable box in the dark. If anyone has good settings please post or link- had to turn off the smooth motion thing, looked terrible-
This tv is terrible; it's 86in 1080p probably in a poor man's home (small), direct lit (flashlight in dark scene), the processor is cheap and can't handle 86in

Rent a truck for a couple of hours from Lowe's or HD.
Rented a 75 minute cargo van from Home Depot which worked great. Walmart people helped load into the van pretty easily
Going from much smaller 55 and 65 inch cheap 60hz TVs, I'm pretty satisfied with this so far. Didn't notice any screen bleeds or other flaws yet.

I saw this on display at my local Walmart today. It had a great picture, nice and smooth motion, but significantly brighter than all other TV's on display. Could this be due to not having local dimming?
