Reading some mb review issues but it seems after a BIOS update it runs well. Taking a chance on it for the drive and ram

Drive and RAM you're at least $250 alone, this is way worth it I think. $219 for the mobo by itself, this combo is a steal!!!

I did notice reading the reviews for the MB that there's a lot of helpful advice in there for new PC builders.. or novices (compared to a lot of people here on slickdeals ) like myself who may have built a few desktop PC's and swapped out the "guts" (motherboard/ram/CPU and other parts too ) over the years but still get nervous when called upon to do it again .. just one example the BIOS flash button the first review I saw talked about was, for me years ago, a brand new thing to me given it had been several years since I'd last had to swap out the parts inside a PC (needed to make desktop PC's ready for Win 11) - very helpful in case you get stuck with an older MB that doesn't support some hardware (CPU in my case but again this was years ago) right out of the box.

i'd just go for the other deal if you don't already have a CPU in mind.
$344 = AMD Ryzen 5 9600X + GIGABYTE B650M mATX + 32GB Corsair DDR5 + 500GB Patriot M.2 SSD + Monster Hunter

Can confirm, I have one of these. With newer CPUs it won't post until you flash an updated BIOS. But it's fairly easy to do and it's a small added step. Great deal!

I've been using this board since November with a 9800x3d and I've got no complaints. Don't let the B chipset mislead you into thinking it's lacking or not a good board. I has PCIe gen 5 for future GPUs, 3 m.2 slots, wifi, usb C, etc... It really has pretty much anything you'd need which makes anything "higher tier" a hard sell. I got mine from Microcenter for $220 + $120 for 32GB of ram (granted, my ram has slightly better speeds & timings than this deal's Corsair kit). That said, the included 2tb ssd (which is a very nice ssd, not just some trash freebie) would more than make up for the slightly worse ram in my opinion. If I was in the market for a new AMD board, especially one with a white/silver color scheme, I'd absolutely bite at this price.

Word of warning though to anybody looking to get this for a 9000 series cpu; mine needed a bios update to recognize my 9800x3d. It took me a little while to figure that out, because the troubleshooting LEDs were reporting memory errors even though the unrecognized cpu was the issue. After a bios flash, I haven't encountered a single further problem.
