It lasted about a year of normal use/gaming before the space bar started giving up(on both keyboards).

Would it feel the same with the low profile?
I previously prefer browns switches for work, but the Razer Ornata is really a hybrid of mechanical and membrane. Makes it very pleasurable to type on it.
