It is fragile—if you drop it from arm height on to a hard surface it can crack. I disagree about detangling. My son has very wavy/tangly long hair and this is the only brush that works for them. Tried lots of other brands/styles and this is the only one that didn't hurt them. Game changer for me.

Agreed this thing is awesome as a girl dad who's never had to brush long hair before it makes it way easier on me and my daughter. However as others have said it did break one of the small brush heads when we dropped it once.
