Out of curiosity, how did the flavor hold up?

No coupon needed. Look below the normal order price area (on the product page) and you will see a way to set up a subscription. This subscription can be canceled the day you receive the product and they offer an additional discount if you set it up.

Great deal - wonder if you could wrap some rice in cheesecloth or panty hose and use as a dessicant to keep the moisture at bay? Also for those not brave or don't wish to stock up as much Sam's Club has the 29 ounce container also on sale for $5. That deal is a penny more @ 17cents per ounce with less concern about longevity. https://www.samsclub.com/p/mccorm...-oz/161898

This review was kinda funny:

Let's talk about how long this seasoning will last. I'm talking about years of steak-dominating power. 5 pounds of seasoning is like a lifetime supply for one person, or a solid 6 months of seasoning if you're having a BBQ every weekend (no judgment). It's honestly like McCormick is saying, "Here, take this massive jar of flavor, and may your steak game never suffer again."

That's a great idea. I actually have mason jars with the vacuum seal lid adapter that would work brilliantly too.

Sadly even 7lbs of Montreal-style seasoning won't give you that Quebec je ne sais quoi

It is good on salad too as part of a vinaigrette.
