Standard Amazon price for this configuration recently. It's still a good deal (thanks, OP!), but the overall price (w/coupon/code) has been the same for some time now.

The reviews are confusing. Is the ram soldered on?

Anyone know if if I should get this one or pick up the other one that was on sale a week ago with 256gb HD and 12gb ram?

Seems like an ok price. I think there are a lot better deals out there, just got a refurbed minisforum with Ryzen 7640HS, 16G/512G for 195.

Picture indicates there is 1x ram slot. But it says 16gb max which is currently installed. So sounds like you can't upgrade but is not soldered.

Someone who owns this would be able to answer that question. Any of these with soldered-on components (that can be upgraded) should be avoided.

Key word: refurbed.

Having expanded storage is a no-brainer (if the price differential is minimal, as it is in your comparison).

And whats the difference? Looks brand new, runs fine, carries the same 1yr warranty from something that's at least been around for awhile not a company that cant even populate a basic website.

N150 supports 16GB maximum, even if it's not soldered, you can't go beyond 16

I just got this and hooked it up last night. First impression is that it is probably decent for a standard web browsing computer. I was installing a couple of different small applications and my mouse kept freezing, but I'm not sure if that was related to anything else. I did have quite High component usage on task manager. The big thing that I was after was low power consumption as it will be left on to be a low level media server to a larger Drive array. Ideally, I'm hoping that I can use it to host my 4K HDR files, but I've not gotten to that yet. I was happy that at idle and with most operation that I was doing, I was sitting at 16 Watts. Will provide more information as I mess with it if I remember to come back here.

Love how all the prices on mini PCs got artificially jacked up, then went on sale for the normal price... 🤦 ♂️

Not a great deal considering the GMKtec often goes on sale for only $8 more and you get a better drive (NVME vs SATA), faster WiFi (6 vs 5) and Ethernet (2.5 Gbps vs 1).
