Bought this last week, amazing quality. Good price, it was slightly lower 2 weeks ago. Good deal nevertheless.
good to know! i just got a new tv recently but i wasn't as impressed with my current model as i thought i would be. might see this one in person and see how i like it. appreciate the review
Good deal, nice PQ but if you need a set that's better with gaming take a look at the TCL Q77 if you have a costco membership. I had this tv but returned it and went with the TCL. It includes. a 5 year warranty. Add a best buy 5 year warranty to the Toshiba set and the prices for both are similar.
I've been wanting a 4K TV (OLED) for a very long time. My old costco Samsung 55" is just 1080 P. But everything I've looked up comparing QLED to OLED says that QLED just cannot compare? (wouldn't mind others opinions on that ). But all the OLED 55" or bigger that appear on Slickdeals are usually damn expensive ,over $1000 .

How was the picture quality between the two? Also was there any lag in booting up from off or lag in the remote control?

Picture quality was about the same for both and I didn't experience any lag with boot up but I did have some issues of slight lag with the toshiba remote. I've read some TCLs have remote issues as well but so far mine hasn't yet. Wasn't happy with 60hz for gaming in the toshiba, the TCL is much better in that area.
The Q77 supports native 120Hz refresh rates up to 144Hz at 4k. It's just smoother and more responsive compared to the Toshiba which has a native refresh rate of 60Hz
I grabbed the 75-in last week. Great TV so far. If anyone is interested in dropping your picture settings below, please feel free. The picture seems pretty good out of the box but I'm open to calibration suggestions.

Setting to "movie" mode provides natural and best picture quality. The default standard mode over brightens colors.

I had the 75" in cart but decided to go with the Sony X85K because of some reviews I read of a pronounced "soap opera effect" on the default setting and motion smoothing had to be disabled each time. Confirm?
