Looks like it's white glove delivery, which I'd happily pay for. I spent almost three hours to put my (other brand) bike together. Wish I'd gotten this... The bike I got ended up breaking within two weeks.

At least Matrix is a well known brand in gyms, last Planet Fitness I went into was all Matrix.

PF's bike definitely didn't look like this.

It looks like the XR model has a low tech screen. I actually prefer those after seeing these high tech screens at the gym needing software updates and the machine not working at all until that happened.

Might have looked different (it's definitely not purple!), but, checking my local PF on Google reviews, I'm seeing a lot of Matrix equipment (and some Life Fitness).

I own the matrix rower it is by far better than the concept towers I have used both a lot. Am thinking of picking this cycle one up.

I use a Concept2 RowErg but since I am by no means an expert on rowing machine features, could you share some of the differences? I don't know if there'll ever be a situation where the RowErg breaks and I'll need a new rower but it would be good to know my options. Thanks in advance!

The matrix computer is basic. Rows per minute, time, calories, some challenge modes but basically that. It uses a $77 rechargeable battery pack that will be needed if the machine sits for a very long time without use and are not disconnected. It is magnetic and sure doesn't give more feedback when rower harder but that's the excuse given for fan based rowers. Magnetic is silent. The noise comes from the rollers under the seat. Every part is available from Johnson exercise equipment. Flywheel is low to the ground, not this big fan of bullshit at eye level ... I watch TV while on mine, the TV is on a standard height console. It stands up nicely in a compact space. The build is much more substantial. The seat rollers, for example, are of commercial quality and when they wear out, more can be bought and it's not expensive either.
