Costco has them for 399.99 if you have a membership.
FYI. If you're a Costco member these are slightly cheaper and you get the lifetime return policy.

https://www.costco.com/TP-Link%20...ue&nf=true

I picked them up after using the 5400s for a few years before lighting storm fried them. Costco took them back and I upgraded to these.

Reason I picked this is all ports are 2.5Gbps compared to say the 75x pros which only have 1 2.5gbps port.

So far no issues.
You can't beat Costco return policy if any issues occurs.

Lolol so now you are comparing used equipment to NEW... Dude you crack me up. There is nothing your Unifi setup can do that actually matters to a normal everyday person, and in the process the TP-Link schools your setup in what matters to everyday people actual performance, and the best part its cheaper overall by a lot.

BTW there is a reason you see a lot of Unifi USED equipment, cause people after awhile figure out it was a waste of money for their home environment and get rid of it to the next sucker who wants to overpay.

Man it aint that deep. Do you work for TP Link? Unifi stuff is used because enterprise equipment gets upgraded frequently, not because it's bad, it's quite the contrary. You see a lot of used iPhones on the market because they last not because they're bad. Like I said… TP Link stuff has its place, I have recommended TP link to family members for their cheaper mesh setups and they work great. No hate for getting something like what's on this listing, if you have this and it works well for you then that's great! But if you're getting into prosumer prices, in my opinion you should get prosumer equipment and get something like UniFi that you know for sure is going to be robust, reliable, and doesn't have safety concerns.

I have tried a lot of network equipment out in the market, as well as a lot of my peers. All of us have been really happy with UniFi stuff and haven't gone back to anything else. Speaking from personal experience and sharing accordingly. No reason to be upset about it.

That is like ideal coverage. My house is brick and some of inner walls have cinder blocks (don't ask me why). But I can tell you my coverage drops considerably fast and far. I have to have 4 eeros in the house to ensure no weak spots as it can't penetrate all the walls. It kind of sucks really.
Makes sense - my place is all 2x4 "stick built" 60's era suburban tract house - some decorative brick on the front facade, but otherwise just frame walls and drywall, so coverage from a single AP is adequate.

No I dont work for TP-Link, but I get tired of you no knowledge clowns coming in with the same fake narrative... So I have no problem correcting your lies. Again you keep pushing that prosumer prices crap, nothing you buy from Unifi competes with TP-Link on a price to performance level, TP-Link mops the floor with your prosumer gear at every price point so you having to spend 3X the amount to get the same level of performance is a joke.

Since I worked in multiple fortune 100 companies I can tell you no enterprise equipment is NOT upgraded regularly, lolol. Only people who have no idea about IT and Network divisions in large companies would say that. Literally the same switches and access points get used for a minimum of 4 years. Only time things would get upgraded quicker is if there was a roll out or expansion in the office and then the budget would be expanded for that location. Real businesses dont buy Unifi gear, thats for want to be home users and some small companies, you get the occasional stadium who picks them up too. Real businesses use cisco, hp, pal alto, fortinet, and yes tp-link.

Next time dont come into a conversation with lies and then try to move the goal posts. Yes enjoy your unifi but dont say it competes with these products when your buying old equipment and nowhere near performs at this level.

I upgraded from Unifi APs to TP-Link Decos and it has been completely seamless, no issues whatsoever. One AP covers my house and yard without issue. I shudder to think how large one's house would need to be in order to effectively use three of these APs.

I have an Orbi RBK50. My only complaint about Orbi is that there's a distinction between routers and satellites. So, I'd need to buy satellites if I want to expand or address dead spots, which cost an arm or a leg. I did flash a few routers into satellites, but that would void the warranty.
I have my eyes on the Asus BQ16/Pro, which is ~$450 per unit (slightly less than an Orbi equivalent). I like Asus' setup because there's no distinction between routers and satellites. However, many reviews complain about their firmware issues. I don't want to drop $2000+ and deal with technical problems.

You sure that's true? I had the Orbi and the model was diff on satellites, RBS I believe.

Nothing recent about that article its over 5 months old and with old administration, and chances of happening slim to none as pointed out in NEW NEWS about TP-Link transitioning to a new parent company.

Great so you ended up with less performing gear for the same money, good for you man, lolol.

Hey, I didn't crap on anything in my reply.

It's interesting that you took that approach to my response, however.

I'm sorry for whomever or whatever harmed you along the way. I hope you find peace.

7,600 square feet of coverage? I have a single sub-$100 AP that covers our ~2,700 sq ft house with no issues.
So. Does yours also do 7600? I'm failing to see your point.

Look at all the people I deal with on these boards on a daily bases who just like you push outdated information as fact or their opinion as fact. After a few posts I get tired of the pleasantries I afford people. So while my statements are harsh they are at least using the latest information and factual. TP-Link has gone through a lot of measures to prevent a ban compared to over a year ago, and the ban was never about spyware, but because of price competition, since they were charging lower prices and kept the other router manufactures in check from being able to increase their ridiculous prices even more than they are now.

I already beat to death the Unifi argument with the Honda dude above, so I wont be going over that again.

I didn't ask you to, and "all the people you deal with on a daily basis" is on you, as is how you choose to approach them.

None of my comment was personal and you've done a good job of turning it into an attack.

Again.

I'm not trying to fight you, and somehow you keep throwing punches.

not much of an upgrade from from my wifi4 system, most of my IOTs are old. got the 2 pack of this model. range on these is horrible. every step further from the router we can see the slowness. at least for me it is giving a horrible performance. my wyze camera outside the house are always stuck. cant penetrate through the walls.

Looking for advice. Have a 5200sq ft frame house with large back yard and pool/shed/outdoor speakers on Sonos. Looking for something reliable that has 2.4ghz and 5ghz wifi6. Suggestions? Right now, using 3 of the Linksys APs as mesh network, 2 wired, 1 wireless that were on sale for ~$20 on Amazon last fall. Guy that ran my wiring swears by unifi and says anything else is a waste of time. Told him I didn't want to spend >$1k on unifi solution. Wanted to stay away from tplink with all Chinese equipment paranoia..

Just cause I find this hilarious. Lets do you made up math, one you need a dream or cloud device first cheapest comparable is $200 , than a comparable access point would be the $190 U7 PRO and look at that you already blew past the budget...

As for reputation, lololol, right thats why TP-Link has won multiple editors choice and top pick awards, not to mention SMB awards. Please get informed before posting nonsense...

Also as for performance these mesh units kill the comparable U7 PRO and are more in line with the $280/$300 U7 Pro MAX/ XGS access points which than completely blows away your silly $400 budget, lolol.

Well said. TP Link Deco is quality and actually receives updates for years. For consumer gear, its fantastic

Nope. 7,600 is a lot of coverage to pay for if you don't need it though - looks like their 1 pack covers 3,000 sq ft, and is $150 after CB.

If you dont want TP-Link than a 2PK of the latest mesh from Asus is probably your next best bet for $400. Its the easiest route instead of going with separate routers and AiMeshing them. They have all the main bells and whistles, only thing really missing is a 10Gig port but they have a 2.5.

https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-BT6-T...80698&th=1

They also offer a 3 pack for an extra $125 more, but the 2pk is listed close to your sq ft.

Also since you mentioned you have your house hardwired, if you dont care about the 6ghz band aka wifi 6E, or triband, you can go with the even lower BD4 dualband wifi 7 kit, it costs only $300 for a 3 pack on amazon currently and still can handle gig internet just fine.
