Have this vacuum. Love it. I really thought it would be gimmicky with the laser but it makes vacuuming addictive. Our crappy Amazon one is in the basement for our housekeeper to use. We keep this one in our living room and I now vacuum zero times more often because I vacuumed zero times before and anything multiplied by zero is unfortunately still zero.

There is a manufacturing flaw in this where the startup sequence gets interrupted and you have to turn it on like 6 times in a row. Very annoying but I was able to get them to send me a new body and it's worked ok since. I did buy a 2nd one refurbished while waiting on the replacement part. That one has an issue where the washable filter gets covered in dust that should have been trapped in the chamber. Very odd but also a known issue on the Dyson forums. So it's a bit of a crap shoot. Definitely not a good price at $500. It's been much better. I think I got it for $400?
