For reference, a typical 60W-equivalent light bulb is around 800-850 lumens, which means this thing is 3 times less bright than a single typical light bulb. That's really weak. I guess it's better than no light in a camping trip, but, like you, I would use this for the occasional power-outages.

Yea. Bright is relative to your surroundings I guess. Seems like a ton of light when you're in the pitch dark haha.
