I have the olive camo ripstop ones and the fabric is very scratchy and not soft like the normal colors. I will pass on the ripstop versions.

These are perfect for bouldering and scrambling around on rocks in the AZ heat. The long inseam helps keeps your knees from getting scratched. the ripstop arent as comfy, but are a lot more durable when sliding your butt down rocks.
