Having owned both a samsung g9 49" and an oddessy 57", I can confidently warn you - whatever number they claim to support, you can take 10-15 inches off it.

I guarantee you if you tried to put a 57" monitor on this it will sink no matter how you tweak it. Ive had zero luck with all the top brands. Get a wall mount rotator arm for big screen tvs.

when you read the actual "weight" these support its far below the normal weight of a 49-57" screen. If it doesn't sink under the weight immediately, it will over time.
Get a mount that supports closer to double your size. 75" etc.

I can recommend the Ergotron HX with HD pivot for the 49". Have you found anything to support the 57"?

It is able to support 40lb, so 49" no problem. I don't think they will state 40lb if their arm can't take 40lb.

A manufacturer would never overstate the capability of their own product

Not true at all. Just got the PUTORSEN 57in mount and holds my 57 perfectly and extremely easy to move.

I got the non-RGB version for $80 not long ago. Really liked it for my LG 42 C2, pretty solid arm. Wish I waited for this.

Bought this last time for a 49" Samsung which is under the 35pounds (I believe right at 32) and it does have an issue with the weight tilting no matter how hard you try to adjust the tension. What I can say though is you can fix that by putting something in between the tilt mechanism and monitor back plate. While yes it is a little annoying and shouldn't be needed it works fine as long as you don't need to adjust the tilt regularly. The arms do hold it in place though.

I've owned this vivo arm since 2020 with my Samsung 49" g9 and have had no issues and no sagging. Paid $79 for it back then 💀

There's a review on Amazon that says the 57" arm didn't hold up his monitor and it smashed onto the desk. Hard pass. That brand also looks flimsy and cheap.
