Bro you are not reselling the burger, you are eating it.
Why do you think free items have to be worth the minimum purchase price???

Your example vs mine
Regular price of a smokeshack $7.99 in your area. You want to make it a double. Let's write the patty is $2.99 extra. That means you are paying $2.99 towards the $10 minimum and then you will have to pay an additional $7.01 to get over the $10. You paid $10 to get a $7.99 (which is free).
My example. The regular smoke shack in my area is $7.99. Somehow, I am wishing for the Smokeshack to be worth like $10.01 by itself. The price is $7.99. So if I spent $10, both upgrading the free item and buying a separate item or buying a separate item for more than $10; I am still getting a $7.99 item. I do not like the fact that I am getting an item for less than $10 for free because I essentially paid $10 for a lesser valued item as well as for one or two additional items.
But YES, thank you. Someone finally understood what I was writing. It is not a BOGO deal.
It wasn't meant to be a BOGO deal. This is for people who want to make a standard meal that costs just as much as a QPC meal at McDonalds.
Burger, Fries & a Drink for $14 instead of $25 if you didn't use the coupon code. If you don't want those sides. Well that's a "you" problem.
