You can get it cheaper used, you can get sigma 30mm, you can say 18-50 is more versatile.
This is a great price for new without Sony warranty. This is still recommended for Sony apsc cameras without IBIS.
Looks like woot has quite a few.

For prime lenses, I highly recommend Viltrox 13mm F1.4 for vlogging/wide angle (beats the Sony 11mm in my personal comparison, except for portability). This is the dedicated lens I'm using for content creation.

The Viltrox 13mm with my Sony zv-e10 II is on par with the Sony 20mm G lens with my Sony A7 III for video. (13mm APSC = 19.5 full frame equivalent w Sony)

The Viltrox Pro 27mm F1.2 is Sony G Master level quality for 1/4 the price, 40mm full frame equivalent.

For users with full frame and apsc cameras, buying CF lenses larger than equivalent FL FF lenses seems not very smart. The 13mm is larger than 20mm g. The 27mm is even a bit larger than 24mm gm.

I tried Viltrox 13mm 1.4 on my Fx30, Focus breathing and constant focus changes are major issue. I might have got a bad one. But it ruined my shoot

Suppose to be new. However, I received a 16-50mm kit lens in the box. Incorrect lens sent in a correct Sony box for 35mm prime lens. Very disappointed.
